When my dad died a few weeks ago Wow it hits you He was a drummer He had a great roll about people I have his sticks The ones which he loved Lots of memories in those old sticks But more than that he was my Dad He was Fun He loved people And they loved him And nobody will forget him
our house is made of sand the waves form years of stories the winds change their minds but the sand keeps moving while the stories change the fish chase their prey and the mermaids dance at dawn the seagulls fly high living life to the fullest while the sun rises but the night is coming and the winds will blow strong and once again the moon will rise and i'll think about you
Someday when you just want to relax And the beach is inviting Wouldn't you want to walk When the tide is rolling in Wouldn't you want to think Think about what if That wave is real? The one which rolls you over and over And the surf is wild But the water is cooling The sand gets into your mind And you aren't sure if you are alive But the Seagulls fly Into the clouds The fishermen Catch their fish The snappers jump thru the surf On the horizon the boats rule The clams shrivel back into their holes But the sands tell a story As the storm rolls in!!!!
Well my Mom died last night , thinking of the good things And you came across my mind she was fun and honest. need I say more And the days go on and the stories are great to have a Mom like that is great but we will never talk again Took your advice and the last thing I remember is holding her hand and giving her a kiss and she smiled as best as she could We talked and she listened and she moved on and my son said I'll miss her
